A plastic partition inside separates the pairs of wires and protects them from electrical friction between the pairs.CAT6 FTP network cable has a transmission speed of up to 250MHz. It can work with 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX (Fast Ethernet), 1000BASE-T/1000BASE-TX (Gigabit Ethernet) and 10GBASE-T (10-Gigabit Ethernet)[1] (up to 55 meters) standards. 10 Gbits data exchange capability is the main advantage of this cable over CAT5 type cable.
